Born in Angola, Pedro Rosario Yaba plunged into the art world in 1997, transforming his passion for painting into a vibrant and authentic expression. With a multidisciplinary formation, he holds a master's degree in Administrative Law, as well as a degree in Fine Arts. This unique fusion of apparently distinct areas feeds their artistic view, creating a bridge between technical rigor and creative freedom.
Founder of the Monnart Group, Lda., Pedro directs the Pedro Yaba Gallery and School of Arts, in Luanda, a space dedicated to promotion and artistic formation. In addition, he is an active member of the National Union of Plastic Artists (UNAP), reinforcing his commitment to the appreciation of Angolan art.
It was in 2007 that Pedro Yaba began his international career and was driven by her teacher and mentor in arts, the French artist Danielle Vasa, who launched him from Switzerland. At that time, Peter was a completely unknown name in the professional artistic world. Its mentor, Danielle Vasa, on the other hand, already had over 40 years of career and a vast collection of awards.Even so, she believed Pedro's talent and organized an exclusive collective exhibition with only two artists: Madame Danielle Vasa and Pedro Yaba. The show was a success, and after the event, Pedro received invitations to display his work in large galleries and international art fairs.
His works transcend borders, carrying Angola's spirit and a style that reflects both his experience and his vast knowledge.
